What we do…the BEST training for AP teachers!
Advanced Education Consultants began with a small group of AP teachers from East Kentwood High School. Our vision is to support the larger AP community with conferences and workshops that foster professional connection, inspiration, creativity, and BEST PRACTICES. Our vantage point, namely from the master classroom teacher’s eyes, makes us uniquely qualified to support your needs.
Currently we provide West Michigan with…
-Our ONE-day AP BEST PRACTICES CONFERENCE: designed for AP and Pre-AP teachers to learn and grow through the sharing of Best Practices used throughout our classrooms. Our consultants are practicing high school AP teachers, AP Exam Readers, along with others who are highly invested in the AP community such as principals, counselors, and Representatives from The College Board. Our aim is to equip teachers with engaging and creative lessons that promote academic discourse and thinking, which can then be immediately applied in the classroom the following year.
-Our FOUR-day APSI in partnership with the College Board: designed for AP and Pre-AP teachers to learn and grow as well as become certified by the College Board to teach a specific AP Course.
With multiple years of experience hosting the Annual AP Best Practices Conference in Michigan, we are excited to bring our experience to the APSI. We invite you to join us and learn from the best consultants in the country at the West Michigan APSI (in Person) at Grand Valley State University this summer!
